What are tickets and how do I use them?

Tournament tickets are a way to buy into certain tournaments, instead of using chips. From time to time other promotions will also allow use of these tickets, so it's a good idea to keep an eye on the Promotions page to stay updated on their current usability.

To find the eligible tournaments in the Tournament lobby, sort by the Buy-In column and then find the tournaments that show a ticket icon as the buy-in. It'll look a little something like this:

When you register for any of these tournaments, you'll have the choice to use either a ticket or the appropriate amount of chips.

You can keep track of the tickets you have in your account, and their expiration dates, on the left side of your Bank page. Clicking on your chip count at the top of the page will also show you any tickets you've won. Cool, huh?

You can win 2.5K, 5K, 15K, or 50K tournament tickets in Satellite or Freeroll tournaments. Satellite and Freeroll tournaments are qualifying multi-table tournaments where players are awarded ticket prizes. Some of the satellite tournaments that we currently offer are:

  • 150K Free Satellite
  • Freeroll to 15K MTT
  • Satellite to 5K MTT

You can find these tournaments in the Tournament Lobby, under Multi-Table Tournaments. In the "Prize Pool" on the right, they'll have tickets listed instead of the usual chip amount.

Please note: Tickets cannot be exchanged for chips. 2.5K, 5K, 15K, and 50K tickets can only be used for their exact amount. (i.e. you cannot use a 5K ticket to enter two 2.5K tournaments.)
